Feel the love in this thread... oh the humanity of it all! What about the children?

    And oh yeah ...

My little red hornet is kinda neat,
    it's got a real comfortable seat -
The tyres are stylish, satan's best
All in the comfort of the Hornet's nest,
To and fro and back again
It was made in Japan, for a fistful of yen
Around the roads we shall travail,
A few more stories to add to our tale
All in all, my little red hornet can't be beat,
Ready to take on other rider's heat!

I think we should get this thread back on the rails.

The Hornet is a great bike. I had the 250 for my L and R. Its performance is excellent and handling brilliant. Because I had such a great experience in the learning/development phase, I decided to go with the full McCoy when I had no restrictions. I now have a 918cc Hornet. It is great and I have no regrets.

I am sure there are other bikes out there that perform better BUT I am really pleased with my decision and have no regrets.

The hornets are fine but the poetry is appalling!

Mine must be the *SUPER* full McCoy at 919cc's then

I found its a frightening bike to own ....
when you're screamng along at insane speeds, often the litre club are frightened by the hornets

yay for pay day .. new tyre tomorrow

Can't say that I can fault my Hornet. It's a 2005 and I'm very happy with it.

    It's a Hornet rider's sort of thing,
Coming up with these awful ditties -
Nothing else to say, nothing else to sing
Kinda hard to sound quite witty!
    Blame not the little ol'Hornet
Chide not the two wheel ride,
    Composing all response via sonnet
Will often make you run and hide!
Tarry not further, read no more
'Tis often boredom and a chore,
    So mount your mighty steeds
    And twist those wrists,
    Your need for speed
    Is...understandable indeed!

Yarp ... (in Trolley boy Hot Fuzz accent) ... but I ain't a big guy ... only big for a chinaman! Colapop is akin to Godzilla (Gojira), DMNT is like Mothra ... and gijoe1313 is like an insane kung pao chicken man that's channelling Chicken Little ... and don't get me started on Big Dog...

... must be all the hormone protein infested meat products we've been ingesting ...

excellent bike for around town pootling, extremely torquey motors. Doesn't accelerate like crazy, so losing your license isn't as easy.

Don't like how the front and rear seem to act independently when pushing it a bit more, but it could be the suspension being slushy for me. Easy to peg too, if you feel like it

it is most definitely a swarm of hornets, and they seem to be an angry swarm sometimes,
