I put really loud horns on my VFR, and used them a lot, but I've mellowed a bit over the last year, and haven't done anything aggressive, rarely even resorting to "tootling vigorously" at wayward braindead car drivers. However, in the past, I've followed a woman who cut me off on the bridge, and when she eventually got to her destination, told her what a crap driver she was.

Also, the year before last, a lady in a BMW cut me off, and either hit my front wheel, or I lost it taking evasive action, and I dropped my newly-repaired VFR on the road. First thing I did after I stood up was yell, "YOU STUPID BITCH!!" at her. She was most apologetic, admitted fault, and paid for everything.

I'm very aware of how easy people slip into road rage mode (I've had a door kicked in), and how vulnerable we are on bikes, so it's best not to provoke people. Yesterday, a dork in a WRX, nearly changed lanes into me, then promptly cut off the guy in front of me by swerving violently into his lane. The guy in front of me tooted the horn, and the dork had the effrontery to give him the finger, when he was the one in the wrong! If the guy in front of me had then taken offense at this, I'm sure Mr Rude-WRX would've got very nasty. Dick.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

When idiots dont know how to merge in Paraparaumu when i'm following and they stop.... then i get pissed right off... and normally go round them with the finger up screaming something about road rules
I'd love a "how to merge" and "turn into your own fu(king lane" pamphlet made up so i could stick it to their windsceen as i go passed...

when in the cage with the missus......

thats why i ride ... the relaxation

    Re revenge

There are a lot smarter ways to get revenge..than kicking doors and breaking mirrors....

I still have some fishing sinkers from the running repair preformed on the last KB coro ride.

I don't really get angry enough to throw them at cages, so if someone else will put them to better use, they're yours!

I am considering mounting a duplicate horn button on the right grip so I can give the finger at the same time as beeping

Yep, most bikes have pissant horns, I had a mate put airhorns on my 93 ZXR250.
You get the triple pack and remove the largest horn, and attach the two shorter ones. Hehe OMFG those things are loud

I usually swear and glare, but I'm too damn slow to catch up to the offender generally to even consider swiping at their vehicle, the thing that annoys me most is when they are in the wrong and they shake their fist at you and beep the horn, it happens a lot here, people with zero driving skills and manners.
One time my son was riding his scooter a heavily tattoed guy in a huge valiant/or similar started beeping at him and pointing at the side of the road indicating that my boy should pull over, thinking something was wrong with his scooter, he pulled to the side of the road, the guy in the valiant, honked the horn and drove past laughing, he just wanted to get past my son who was riding at 50kms, my boy was furious, and had he been on his cbr I know he would have kicked the guys door in, two days later he was still fuming about it. I'm glad he was riding the scooter or he may have ended up getting severely beaten by the valiant driver had he kicked the door.

It's unexplainable, it's more of a visual thing.
