I tend to look at them and if they say sorry I do nothing otherwise I have a small problem with anger realy small I promise. The best one I ever did was this dud that cut me off and when I looked at him he showed me the finger. What he did not expect is that when we stopped at the traffic light I kicked the stand out got off the bike and walked to his window and asked him in a very calm voice what is his problem and cant he drive. The response was how shall I say ......... funny. Sorry I did not see you.

So honestly enigma, what would you have done had this driver got out of his car and took you on (helmet & all)?

Attach a strobe to your pillion seat, pull in front of the errant driver and blind them! They couldn't see your number plate to identify you, and the roads would be safer for a few minutes while they stopped to regain their vision!
Good plan, just make sure you get the hell out of the way before they rear end the car or (bike which WAS in front of them)

A few years ago I was so annoyed about speed cameras, was really thinking of buying a industrial laser to mount in my car, so I can pull up and point that thing into the camera lense and burn up that chip behind the lens. I only got put off by the price of those lasers.

Shit! So many replies to get thru and i gotta be up @ 7am to work on bikes... But with me...
I havnt yet done anything like physical to another car or anything, coz whenever shit happens i usually damn near piss my pants and have to concentrate on not letting the fluid flow! and by the time my fingures have stopped hurting from all the blood that seems to instantly get pumped to them when i get a massive surprise like a jerk pulling out on me - they have already gone the other way, or i have already gotten passed and out of the situation! if ever i do see them for longer i.e we are going the same way, i just shake my head as/if i go passed.

Never used the horn on anything, i hate them. only seldomly to say goodbye or something.

In my last major experience Putman was following me when we were legally splitting down SH16 b4 waterview offramp, and all of a sudden the car to my front right as i was coming passed jumped into the left lane, shit me there was no indication and i usually tell when its gunna happen as when i see a gap in a lane i just think "careful, someone might jump out and take it" but shit this 4x4 made a bloody gap in hte traffic and nearly swipped the front wheel off my bike, i instantly grabbed the front brake hard on my NC24 with shitty front tyre at the time and locked it up for a little and let it out and grabbed again etc, .. once i realised what had happend and that i was soo lucky not to have been hit, the guy gave a long hard toot of his horn and swung his finger out the window at me! i soo couldnt believe it! i was like, shit me man u nearly nailed my bike and ur throwing me the finger? but he then turned off @ waterview and i wanted to keep on... once me and putman next stopped we talked about it and damn he apparently nearly ran right up the rear of me!

Althogh after that one, and the many like it i have said to whoever is around or myself "Shit, oh if i had a spare 5mins i woulda f***in got out and pounded the shit outta him" or "Shit i shoulda just kicked a big f-off dent in his car, or punched out a mirror!" I soon wakeup to the reality that im only a skinny lanky 6ft white boy with nothing to show, and more to the point nothing to prove! so why bother? just be happy that i survived another experience and saved myself that 5mins of dreaming i was beating the guy up when really itd be 5mins of getting my ass kicked.

But nevertheless good luck to all the real hard men out there whooping some ass.

most they get is an angered arm raise normally, like the people that thought they could turn in front of me at cook st heading in to town, I get a green light and a car full of a...... waits till I am halfway across the intersection then pulls out and turns right from across the other side of the intersection, only just saw me and they all decided to wave at me ?? so I waved back in my local custom

Nope. Still can't figure why the above is on this site. I'll think about it some more and maybe it will come to me

Its the useless owner that really needs training. A dog is only as clever as the training it receives. Owning a dog should require a licence, and not simply be a matter of right. (hops off soapbox)

The alternative is do nothing. The result of this will be.... nothing.

I don't let drivers get away with stupid shit on the road that endangers me without letting them know about it.

A polite word to an inconsiderate driver is everyone's right, and if they get aggro and assualt you, ring the cops. (Or beat the crap out of them yourself - its self defence if they start it you know)

If you're worried about getting assualted, ring *555 with the rego number.

But do nothing and don't expect anything to change.

p.s. you are better off to take the helmet off in a confrontation as they only need to grab it and you're screwed
