I bet its one of mini camper trailers that lift up.

So the rider can go to bed and sleep when he lifts up the top of it.

It's a two stroke single, and could be either 175cc, 250cc, or 277cc.
East German of course, a "Maico-mobile". Who else could design such an ugly vehicle but the East Germans??
Mind you, I'm just parroting what I found on my travels through the internet, so I could be wrong.

That's so true, that's what struck me about the pictures. It's so disheartening, the grey gloomy sky, the rust, rain, cold, it all combines to make a very miserable time.
