A truck has spilled tallow onto the northbound merging lane from Taylor Prestons, Ngauranga Gorge. Road surface is very slippery. The entrance to Taylor Prestons has been closed. As a result, traffic is backing up on the northbound lane. Police and Roading Contractors are in attendance.

Think of someone spilling bearing grease onto the road. Then you'll know how bad tallow is. I'd consider an alternate route.
