    Matata is always shaking. If you look back it probably features more than any where else.
    Its quite close to Edgecumbe where they had that magnitude 6 in '87.

    oh okay, interesting

    just never noticed anything like that number of quakes on geonet before, i hadnt checked it in ages (since the great auckland quake) and thought it was weird

    See the dinosour in the crater?

    I subscribed to their email alert when there is an earth quake - most days there are, and probably about half would be Matata (guessing, cause I'm too lazy to count them, and I'd run out of fingers and toes anyway).
