Biker Down (Mar 13th) - Harbour Bridge South Bound

Biker down this morning on the Habour Bridge southbound. Approx 9.30am-ish.

The bike looked like an older model Honda either a CBR 250/400 or VFR400. Mainly white with a dark tinted screen.

Male rider. Rider seemed ok, was up and walking around talking to the tow truck driver and the police... another cop on a bike was talking to a young guy in a boy racer looking car, not sure who was in the wrong.

    Hope your ok buddy

I had a mental image of a biker falling off the bridge after being shunted off their bike.

    Glad they are ok

Heading up or down the bridge? Heading down the bridge, in the wet, in traffic can be sketchy if you need to brake near one of the big metal joins.... Good fun headin up the bridge in the wet though.... wrrrrrrrrzzzzzzzzzzzz
    Has anyone seen my baffles?

Heading up the bridge. On the left hand side in lane 2, the bike and car and cops etc where in the medium lane between lane 2 and 3 (Lane two is on the outside of the bridge and lane 3 on the inside if that makes sense). Not sure if thats where the accident happened but thats where they were all parked up.

It's one of us... and it sounds like they're ok. Possible broken thumb (hearsay at this point).

I'll leave it to them to volunteer any additional details.

    It hurts.

    Bike is buggered.

    Ive been better.

Insurance may be a nasty point, being on a 4 hundy and all...

car just changed lanes right into my path, pushed me off the road and onto my left side. I counted that I did 7 somersaults...

Definitely get checked out (if you haven't already). Often it's not until the adrenaline wears off that you realise how sore you are and if you need any physio etc later, need to make sure all the ACC requirements are fulfilled.

Glad to hear you're (relatively) ok. That fingernail's going to look spectacular for a while.
