I wish people would stop going on about how good norfland roads are. they are crap and if you think when u break down someone will help you your wrong. They'll nick your bike.
Actually it is nice up there, but Dave is getting neg rep from me for telling more people about it. its bad enough having to live thru the nutty season without attracting more people up there. FFS featuring it in your mag ??!!

oh and I dont know why the bridge is built like that. If its like the roads in russel, its because some plonker in england drew a grid for the streets not taking into account topological features of the landscape, like F$#%ing cliffs and mountains.
Or more likely it was a road to somewhere until the money to build it wasn't around.
