I think its being blown out of proportion, the press like to wind people up with a worst case scenario. They do the same with the latest EU laws. I think the idea is to get mini motos off the road. Common sense will prevail.

been taking lessons from Ms Bradford et al in well-intentioned but misguided proposals??
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

It could potentially make British Superbike racing more relevant to the road user, if the racers have to carry number plates, road legal tyres and indicate when entering / exiting pit lane

I feel that overtaking will require indicating for the mandatory three seconds as well.
An adept racer with a set of mirrors will see this indication and respond tactically.

    Could make some interesting races...

Reminds me of when NZ bought in the law against drinking in public. It was technically illegal to carry your booze from the shop to your car.....

I wonder if you'll be able to get personalised plates for your race bikes. Endless possibilities.

Ahh, but you do. Exactly the same as Bradford's Bill. Well intentioned but dumb as a box of hair.

My personal favourite bit of the article was: "ill-conceived and poorly thought-out piece of legislation."

    Aren't they all??
