    Well, I'll beef hooked

I just happened to find the name of the previous owner of my Bandit, so I thought I'd give him a call. It was a very interesting one too.
It seems the bike has a history with the local Pleece, although they must have got over it, because they never stop me. And it's had some airbox mods and rejetting done as well as the Scorpion can. He had it dynoed at 116 hp at the wheel when it was newish and still tight, could be more now. I'd heard stories about at certain Bandit rider embarrassing sport bikes at Puke track days and this was the man.
I thought it was quick when I first rode it, but thought Bandits were all like this, apppears not. No wonder the Mille struggled to get past. WooHoo.

    Bandits

There is quite a bit of stuff around for the Bandit. I contacted "Dale" at Holeshot in the States. He only does stuff for Bandits. I've got his high-pipe on. Awesome, awesome sound. It cannot possibly be legal. He also does headers, stage 1 and 2 tuning performance kits. (I haven't bothered, my Bandit is fast enough for me!). I have lowered it with his suspension struts. There is also a quick-change gear button you can fit. This stuf is good if your into drag-racing. (Of which I know nothing). If you own a bandit there is some good sites on the web. (http//www.) banditmania.co.uk,
    holeshot.com, maximum-suzuki.com. Have a look.
