    Motomail

Just had to put in that I've visited the people down at Motomail a few times now and think the service is great.

People tend to post when they have shitty service from a place, so I thought it should be the same for the other way around as well.

Anyways there's my shameless plug and thoughts this morning as I'm staring out the window at work

Good on you FJ, totally agree with what you are saying, in fact the last time I had bad service at a bike shop was about 10 years ago. The guys at Motomail sorted me out for gear when I got back into riding last year, hell they even gave me a free pair of gloves. The shops that I have dealt with recently have been Motohaus, Motomail, Mt Eden, Haldanes and Botany Honda - All good guys that have a genuine interest in their customers.

    Good post mate

Agreed, i bought some leathers from them, and they gave great service. Didn't push me into buying anything i didn't want. They had all the information and advice.

Also i deal with CycleTreads for tyres and other little things. Never had any problems, one of the guys even lent me ther bike to go and pickup some parts.
I had gone in for a new battery, and they offered to test if it was charging [which it wasn't] and they sorted me out with a temporary fix [which has turned out not so temporary - lol]

Some guy from Motomail with long hair tried to put his finger inside me when I was there.

Apart from that, the service is second to none.

I've been into Motomail a few times now and I think its a fantastic store. It's refreshing to see so much choice, knowledgeable staff and a cafe thrown in, all in a nicely designed and clean environment.

Well done Motomail. I'll be getting my gear from them as they stock heaps of stuff for girls.

I feel out of place...maybe they are trying to discourage my type. It's very clean, and the salesmen smile a lot...too much, surely it must hurt to smile 24 hrs a day.I don't think the smiles are real, they must of bought them in a bulk order from China,

Motu, I think you've hit on something there that links into the AA report posted somewhere earlier i.e. the Avg Biker these days is close to 33 years old and has a semi/proffessional job. I think thats the atmosphere they have created to target the BAB and seems to me they have done very well.

What caused that? I've had so-so response from them, but nothing bad at all.
