Do they serve anything else other than pizza?

Bugger, been in meetings all afternoon and only just got home from Avonning....

I'd have gone with Chicago - good food and not too bad beer (if you get a warm one, they replace it real quick, eh A_H?!).

Never mind - One Red Dog is fine with me (even tho never been there before)

One Red Dog on the wharf, not Allen Street. I think I may or may not be able to find that. I'll be the aimlessly wandering fuller-figured old fart. Either shoot me or steer me in the right direction.

Hey that's 10 meters from where I work, I'll come. It'll be a sacrifice but I'll be there.
One Red Dog is in the building near the ferries that go across the harbour to Eastbourne.
I shall ride my newest monstrosity.

Its in the old steam packet building (ex Greta Point) or whatever they call it that Loaded Hog is in as well and its to the North of Shed 5.

Col did you book to make sure we get a nice big table?

They do serve more than just pizzas. Check them out here http://www.onereddog.co.nz/wq/home.html

    See you there.
    Cheers

Yeah, right. That was a waterfront development rort if ever there was one. The "new" building bears absolutely no resemblance whatsoever to the premises that once existed at Greta Point.

OK so you work that close some of the time and you can coincide with being ashore at 12.30 then?

Yip, I start my afternoon shift at 2pm so no beer for me. Well, maybe one. Or maybe two. We'll see. Once the skipper came to work drunk and didn't get fired, just got a written warning. The skipper of a passenger vessel!!
The deckhand kept a close eye on things though, and was ready to take over at any moment.

Except, presumably, when standing on the deck, holding the mooring line, approaching the wharf and hoping the skipper didn't dump them in the gap ...

Edit: or is it reaching out for the mooring line? whatever - balancing precariously on the edge of a moving vessel.

Bugger, That means I'll have an extra 10 metres to walk. I don't have a card for One Red Dog. (Got one for just about everywhere else). I will even drag Scamp along. She's looking forward to getting a 'Colapop Hug'.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker
