tyres im getting are pirelli mt66's.
    Has any one used these?
    whats the verdict?
Congrats on the new bike mate. The MT66,s are awsome tires,my wife runs them front and back on her 1400 intruder, good in the wet and the the bike is so much better in the handleing department compared to the crap Bridgestones that come as stock.I,ll be changeing to them also as soon as i wear out the Bridgestones on my s83.

Nothings wrong with the DR,i'm just not using it for adventure rides like i had thought i would.only used on the road so i bought a road bike. The Dr's good fun on the road but.
The shock linkage has two holes for rasing/lowering bike.
Its currently on the high setting.I'm 5"10 an and can nearly flat foot it.
I don't how low it would go on the lower setting.
You can get gel seats for em which lower it a bit more.
Re gs 650 i've never been on one so can't compare them.

We,ve been caught in some good downpours at times and there did,nt appear to be any slipping,i guess it all depends on how hard you ride in the wet.
