The XLV750 is pretty cool, especially the red white and blue model, one of the most 'special' Hondas ever built.
But the coolest bike ever has to be the Vincent Vtwin, with not much money to use Phill and Phill designed a bike to the best of their engineering knowledge and materials of the time, never before and maybe not again has a bike broken out of the mould of it's time.I'm sure the Vincent experts could tell you all about it,but shit,it's an absolute masterpiece in every respect, the fastest thing on the roads for decades...and after.I remember when Ken MacIntosh used to ride the Egli Vincent at Puke,a 30 yrs old motor just loafing around cleaning up the latest bike of the time.

You know, the Toyota Corolla's been in continuous production forever, but that doesn't make it cool.Originally Posted by Jackrat

The first ride on your first bike - whatever it is, is the coolest moment. Left me addicted for life.![]()
Mine was a Honda XL100 trail bike

Open the bonnet of the first Corolla and then compare it to the latest - try and find anything they have in common apart from 4 cyls.Take a look at old and new Sportsters - sure they both look out of the ark,but you find more the same than not.XR750s are cool...waaaay cool!Originally Posted by rodgerd

To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
the two wheel drive yamaha wr 450 in sawyer is the coolest new bike i have seen in a long time.
My proflex mt-bike is cool too,the new rocket 3 is to ugly to be cool.
three can keep a secret,if two of them are dead.

It would have to be the Britten, when you consider what an accomplishment it was, and how many innovations it incorporated. And it looks kewl!
Hard thing to quantify, kewlness, as it's so subjective, but it would have to be "what would turn the most heads as it went down the road, and would attract the most attention parked?" or summat like that.
That would still be the Britten, but the jet bike and Vincent Black Shadow would still be up there.
For the less discerning, probably some very noisy chopper loaded with lots of bling and an outrageous paintjob.![]()
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
That's funny. I thought they'd stopped them spraying oil everywhere and bits falling off...Originally Posted by Motu
