Hoping to sit my restricted soon and was just wondering if anyones sat theirs in eitha the Howick/Medowlands or Mt Wellington (Carbine road) testing places.

What was it like and where abouts did you have to ride.

Oh and did you use a headset?

    Cheers

did both restricted and full at carbine vtnz....

Restricted took 7 minutes and was basically going in a circle..

Full was a bit harder but not that bad
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

I sat mine and Meadowlands - had a headset and a reasonable examiner. I'm used to the driving tests in the UK where they'll fail you on a slight error in road position so I thought I'd failed as I didn't ride perfectly.

You'll be fine so long as you don't run through stop signs, red lights and observe the speed limits (including 20kph past School buses unloading sprogs).

Best o' luck when it happens.
