The Britten team achieved far more on the world stage than the BSl ever did
Would we have said that back in 1990 or even 1989 ?

I thought the BSL actually raced in europe against the Jap 500 strokers.
I think it would have been interesting if the BSL had a season or two for development
What I'm saying is the BSL was from the start intended to go head to head with the best/fastest in the world.
They didn't achieve it but look how many years it took the Brittain to acheive what they achieved

The BSL was kicked into a corner by the new rules,it was designed when 500cc 2strokes was the GP class.Mind you I was told by those who know Buckley well not to expect him to stick with it.

ewekay - I haven't seen the 4 valve Goldstar since I got my digital camera - off course! I don't think it was a hand built head, but an adaption of an existing head, pretty sure it was a Yamaha, but could be wrong.
