I have had:

* Some indifferent 250, maybe a Yamaha, in 1984, but sold it to move to London

Then I waited 13 years (!) and bought:
* Suzuki 125, dunno what sort, POS
* Honda XL125, wiv kickstart, loved that bike: set me off on a love affair with trail bikes
* miscellaneous rat-like Honda CX500s, VT550s or some old load of courier crap, never really ran well, but they got us there, wherever there was at the time, and a buddy of mine who is the webmaster at ratbike dot org would have approved, but he didn't know me at that point in my life, LOL; He often complains that all the time he has known me, all my bikes are too tidy, but since I have known him, I have only had:

* a non-ratted Yam TW125, funny lookin little thing, got stolen and burnt out
* a nice clean Yam XT660, owned it 10 days, got stolen
* a handsome hunky torquey Yam XTZ750: bought it when I bought the 660, me bloke rode it, then dropped the forks for me, that bike was the love of my life: I wanted to marry it and have its babies ... and now its in bits in his cupboard after having been stolen twice and recovered It will be ratted and will be the sexiest rat-bike on the road - when it is put back together

* a sedate but sturdy Yam XJ900, bought in NZ, imported back to UK, couriered, loved, hated, sworn at ... still going strong over in Blighty I am looking forward to riding it when I get back there, cos me blokey has just acquired himself a new one very similar (although I refuse to do the 'matching bikes' thing, urgh, too twee!).
