I flew back to Darwin (work) today but the BW125 scooter as mentioned up the page has been held up and not due until the end of the week.
While back home on my 6 day break I mentioned to SWMBO about seeing a Sunbeam S7 deluxe on 'Gumtree, she asked when we were going to get it.
After phone calls to the seller who said he had had some 14 inquiries (including one while I was there) we hired an iLoad and drove down to Sydney yesterday.
The bike had been in this locker on the back of an old truck for around 16 years, the story was prior to that it had been in an attic until purchased along with the S8 from a deceased estate auction.
Pictures can't describe how dodgy this operation was, not to mention the shower of hydraulic fluid from the leaking Hiab boom.
There was only time to unload it and put it in the garage by the time we got home.
A 1953 (< based on the frame and engine numbers) S7 Deluxe future project to go with the 1949 I have already.
