I've just put OZIExplorer on my PDA and have just started recording some tracks around Welly/Wairarapa.
Got a fairly good one of Lower Hutt to Hamilton, Via Wanganui/National Park/Otorohanga etc.
Anyone with Oziexplorer got some good calibarated maps they want to swap?

Scroll to the bottom and download GPS Track Maker then get the free open NZ maps, if you havent already. They are really good, and about my pricerange
I actually dont use the maps when I ride, just use a bluetooth GPS receiver on my bike which connects to cell phone to record the track.
What is these Wiki pages everyone talks about? can you have your own page?
I have loads of gps files of all sorts of tracks from the complete circumnavigation of NZ to gravel roads, dirt tracks, 4wd tracks etc etc
Let me know if you are interested in some of them

A wiki is a website with articles than can be edited by anyone. eg: www.wikipedia.org is a great source of information and can be edited by anyone.
If you check ours out, www.circletheearth.com you can see on the top of the article pages there is an edit tab, which allows logged in users to edit.
I'll take any tracks you can give me, just have to figure the best way of grabbing them off ya, they should be pretty small right?
