With modern jap casting techniques I think you'll find that the welds will be the weak link...and by the looks the front wheel has hit the rad so it would have been a big impact no matter what speed...if 50 metres on a gixxer thou would be easy 100kms +

I expect a bike to break yes, but to break that weld perfectly like that, NO. I expect all modern bikes would be the same. Scary thought regarding quality of welding

Please, shut up about the welding.

If you want to bitch about Suzuki build, there are places to look at that go a bit sad with normal use, not a catastrophe.

The bike will be brilliant to ride. Just keep it away from walls.

    It looks cut?

Wouldn't mind one if it was given to me... but I don't think I'll ever have the need for a thou, especially the GSXR. Now, a 2007 CBR600RR... that's another story.

waaaah... hmmm... didn't expect that response from the photo's... was more of a haha thing... but... the info on that crash was a guy new to sport bikes, been riding motorcross... thought he could handle it... the bike was outside the shop waiting for him to pick it up, to much revs and he dropped the clutch... shot straight into a wall... barely made it 50m... doubt it was going that fast... it's not like he hit the wall at speed... anyway... take what you will from those photo's... I still don't think the welds should have split like that... I've seen K6< that have been totally stuffed at astronomical speeds and the frame welds were in tact
