    Busa

Mate, I have ridden one, and want one, I will get one, their bloody awesome, so low, fat, comfortable, powerful, and feel so solid. The ultimate in my mind, clutch is a little heavy though, you need a bit of muscle, but then again I guess its not built for the weak?

Anyone else got any thoughts about how the Busa is from the pillion seat? Especially pillions who are 5'8" (173cm) or over?
There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!

Is that an offer to come for a ride?
    Nothing like first-hand experience
It's been a rough day. I got up this morning, put on a shirt and a button fell off.
As I ran out the door, I picked up my briefcase, and the handle came off.
Now I'm afraid to go to the bathroom.

Rode a Busa easter monday and yeah...nice bike. I'm about 6' 3" tall and i found the reach to the bars a little easier than my bike thus a little more comfortable here but due to the low seat hight and high pegs (in relation) i found my legs had too much bend for long term comfort (i did about 70km and was feeling it already). The bike was smooth motorwise in the lower rev range but when i above the 7-8000 rpm range i got noticably coarse. The bike needed too firm a grip on the the bars keep it steady while cornering, this i must say may well have been able to be adjusted out as it was completely standard in setting and i'm shall we say hefty, then again the owner is'nt a pip squeak either. This is a low milage '05 bike so it's not sacked out either. On the plus side it was grunty and flexable powerwise. No need to change down to pass 2 or 3 cars in a row. I did enjoy the ride but if buying new, with the money involved i would head to either a Yamaha FZ1S or a Kawasaki ZX14. (just my humble opinion)

Can't say that my bussa needs any grip while going through corners, just a lot of work changing direction just like any 250kg plus bikes need.
If your use to small bikes it probably does require heaps more effort than your use to.
When I ride my mates 600cc its so easy (and fun) they just lack the grunt at low rev's and at my 110kg (beer and pies) I need all the grunt i can get.
