Seam all good i imported them from the states, the ones i got a touch to small for me nothing major tho, the leather is nice and thick, seam warm enough, and not really riden in real heavy rain since i have a different pair of gloves for wet weather riding, alot of people really love look of my gloves,

there is no need to load up the knee sliders unless you're trying to save falling on your arse and with your record for falling off it obviously isn't helping

I've only fallen off twice around the track and thats only once a year.

My knee sliders arn't too much of a problem, but my bloody toes are they keep wearing out really fast!

So move the position of your feet!!
Its that simple!!,next you ride the bike make a conscious effort to have your feet out of the way, ride on the balls of your feet, makes it easier to change direction & load/unload the pegs

so put your toes on your pegs.

and don't weight up your knee. It's only there as a guide, and if in a really bad situation, a way of saving your arse...

Different people ride differently, but if you don't want worn out knee and teo sliders, don't slide em

Hey TT, long time no see, what's happening? See you've gotten yourself into bucket racing. Still get valve tap on the CG? Cool, how are you finding it? Might have to get my tail down to the track to check it out myself, been getting more interested recently! Nice.

Have to go for a ride when I get back, if you're keen. Chur

Nah actually that is with my toes up on the pegs as far as they go.

It's only REALLY a problem on the CG as the pegs are fairly low, I'm racing quite hard you see on that bike.

Hey devient, havn't been doing much road riding lately, with my blown up bike and all.

Been doing heaps of bucket racing, got third in the production championship last season.

Will have to go for a ride next month sometime perhaps if I have rebuilt my engine by then.

    Bikes now consist of:

KR250 Road bike, it's a 80's kwaka 2 stroke tandem twin sports bike

TC125 dirt bike, an old suzuki 70's single 2 stroke, and I've got a spare bike for parts

CG125 bucket racer, it's the same bike as I used to ride, except with less stuff on it, sticker tyres, a fork brace and number boards

Special bucket racer, it's a custom frame, single seat unit, 17" wheels slicks discbrakes etc, XL125s motor with 6 speed 200 head etc with shortened 185 barallel and piston to make it 150cc. It's quite fast and very light.

CB250RS pre '82 post classics race bike, it's fairly standard likes to rev though for some reason, redlines at 9 but pulls round to about 11 or somthing!

And I have a Suzuki Sepia AF-50 scooter I ride around town.... Great fun

Damn dude, you've sure been busy since I last caught up with you! 3rd in production is a good effort, well done. I've been pondering getting into buckets myself, but I suppose I'd really need to go along to a race, maybe try out a bucket myself to see how I liked it. Still, good way to get into two wheeled racing and to improve your riding skills. Fun too no doubt!

You sure have collected yourself a few extra bikes too... you were talking about getting a two smoker last time but still only had the CG. Evidently that two smoker came into fruition as the KR, but it went bang? Oh dear, rebuild time? I suppose all your other bikes aren't road registered. CB250 sounds pretty cool though, as does the custom bucket... whee!

No hurry. Be good to have a pint anyway regardless if you've got the KR going.

Yeah you can come out and try bucket racing eh, you can ride the CG.

The bucket club has some leathers you can borrow, you will just need helmet, gloves and boots and a back protector, but you might be able to borrow one of those too.

    It's great fun.

I've got helmet, gloves, boots, and track legal zip together two piece leathers... but no back protector. Still, at the risk of scuffing my precious leathers, maybe I should still borrow theirs?

Sounds bloody awesome mate, I'm keen as. I leave England in a little over two weeks, and it's going to be good to get home to my old flat, ride my bike again (damn I've missed it)... and especially my bed. It'll be total luxury compared to the thing that passes for a bed over here! Mattress has worse springs that a Morris 1000.

PM me your cell number (might still have it on my phone but not sure as it's in NZ still) and I'll give ya a text when I'm back
