    Which 400?

    hey im new here just like to say hey
    im looking at getting a new bike preferably a 400, im really keen on the nc30 vfr400r. What does everyone think?. i inherited a 97 heritage softail classic (old boy) when my dad passed away but due to not being able to afford the insurance it lives with my mum in tauranga so yeah....having severe withdrawls

    do a search on this site thread title( best 400) lots of info there, but yes vfr very good bike but also getting a bit pricey, saw one at boyd honda in te rapa on saturday for $7200 but there cheaper ones on trade me all depends on your budget, welcome to kb

    Get the VFR, you won't regret it (unless it's a shitter). I have also highly enjoyed thrashing a CBR400RR. Can't really say I liked the ZXR400R, just didn't gel with it I guess.

    haha looks like the vfr wins hands down. i do rekon there one of the sexiest bikes out there even today.

    how fast a rider are you? if you want a race bike get the zxr, sport - fzr, road - cbr/gsxr, grunter - gb/monster/sg350, nekid - fjr/cb....or you could just buy a vfr and have a v4 thing

    fast? that depends on the bike. yeah sure im a competent rider and can go fast :-p i just love the look of the vfr and ive heard nothing bad about them.

    Only one worth considering imho.

    The look better than the rest, they go better than the rest, and handle better than the rest.

    If you can get over the fact its a Honda, then you are onto a winner

    cough cough..... I know where there is a GSXR400SP going for a damn sight cheaper than a VFR. Not as tidy but runs real sweet after the good ole six month check up. Just through some new tyres on it, new reg and wof balanced carbs. Feels like a whole new bike.

    It'll be yours for $1900-$2000.

    hmm very tempting...only problem is i only got 1k saved so far so im gonna have to pass if you still have it available in a few months let me know
