I can get a few more photos of it all if anyone has interest. Prefer to PM them

If you have a closer look you will see a riding boot in the pic, so the question remains. Probably in a back pack or something.

All I can say is that it wouldn't have hurt and it would have been easy to pick up the guy as most of his bits look like they weighed less than 20kg!

Ironicly (sp) the most intact part of him was the lower part of his head (there wasn't a top) and the helmet looked pretty good too

    Bike wasn't too flash neither!

Falling off at 280km = death!!

A good friend of mine sent these thru the interweb today.

I don't know what he's trying to say, but it worked! I will always have these in my mind when I brake the speed limit!

PLEASE NOTE, some of these are VERY graphic!

edit: thread merged, images in first post.

Holy shit. Would hate to fall off at 280... just as well my bike tops out at 270-ish.

We've had a good look at work, and even though we realise the body parts have been moved, we would have thought there would have been more blood around.

    Ouch. RIP

To all those that may feel like suggesting that these kinds of images are not suitable for this site - may I counter suggest that they are, in that they remind us all that we are all but mere mortals.

Seems weird...gloves are off his hands and all...and still in good nick...wouldn't have thought that...

I'm definitely not doing 280 in street shoes now anyway...
