But had they not been travelling at speed severe and sudden impact would not have happened...........thus making both impact and speed a factor in death

it think we are going to be running in circles with this one

    Bloody graphic eh?!
A mate of mine emailed me these ages ago. I didn't think they were overly suitable for a public forum- these message is good but....shit that's nasty. Thought I'd be banned from the forum if I put them up- looks like my stomach is weaker than most of you.
I was doing a image search for something or other on the net once when I came across a pic of a guy that had gone over the bars with no helmet, no jacket and no gloves. Must have been low speed because he didn't have a mark on him.... except for the huge hole in the top of his head.... his brains were spread out on the road infront of him. That was pretty nasty.

To the speed kills/sudden impact kills thing, remember: It's not the fall that hurts/kills - It's the landing/sudden stop. Hitcher is absolutely correct. It could be photoshopped or it could be real, but at those speeds that sort of thing can and will happen.

Physics will help at this sort of thing. If you are doing 280kms an hour and you hit something that isn't moving, then you will keep travelling-at 280kms an hour. You can't change that sort of stuff, but you can prevent it from happening. That is to BE SAFE on the road or anywhere else for that matter.
If it's real then I really feel for the family and close friends of that guy.

As others have been saying, he's lucky he's dead.

    PLEASE RIDE SAFE

And I have the upmost respect for police officers, fire fighters, medics and anyone else who has to help in these situations. I know I could never do it.

Lets just hope that it will never happen to one of us.

Peace hath higher tests of manhood

nothing like a good controversial image to spark the imagination. Good-O

It might be the might internets effect on my but I dont think its real, but the amount of horrificness Ive seen also makes me think that candyfloss and natural light are also photoshops.
I only posted this because of the global economic crisis

KB is a big land. Can't be helped when population grows of a family such as ours. Just make sure you try your damn best not to be one of these 'figures' on paper.

guys-pretty horrible stuff that -It may have been faked it may not but the damage done could definitely be real.
One point made was its not the fall that kills its the sudden stop that does.
Sounding like an old record here but that is exactly why I push track days-
USUALLY there wont be a sudden stop --just the slide of shame and a bt of a repair bill to ya leathers
(lets not talk about the top of the hill at Pukie)
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
