That's funny because I'm pretty sure Guzzi engines WERE used in tractors before they were used in bikes, like the original Vespa's were made from left-over aircraft parts made redundant at end of the war.

Aside from that, no matter what groups/associations we are a part of, be it bike riders, chess players, rugby fans or knitting groups, there will always be a mixture of people, from the assholes, the quietly sarcastic, the doom and gloomers etc. up to the salt of the earth types which I like to think we have a high percentage of. That's simply human nature and it's pointless to try and understand or (especially if your female) try to change people.
All we can choose is how we respond to others....
Shit, I hate it when I start to sound like an old do-gooder.

Check out the above. maybe leave it on the smoko table at work for your workmate. Personally I think Guzzi make some great looking and sounding bikes and would be my prefrence over a Harley.

Lambo eh? Aint that just a glorified tractor?
Same goes for Porsches, they's just fancy Beetles.

Must be the company you keep.
Could be. You can pick your friends but you can't pick your workmates I guess.

You can also pick your nose, for what it's worth.

However, you can't roll your friends or workmates into little green balls. But I digress.

Sorry, I started rambling. What was the topic again??

For me it's a piss take. I honestly don't like cruisers of various descriptions, but then a lot of the cruiser riders won't like my bike with similar passion, and ignorance. I'm not out to convert anyone - just have a dig on the understanding I can have a laugh... and they dig back and have a laugh too.

'scept Honda riders. They get no mercy

Wash your mouth out with soap!!!!

Kawasaki had NOTHING to do with the design.
Bloors men visited the Kawasaki factory and had consultations with K about manufacturing line principles - the design work on your bike was done by Lotus, Cosworth, Riccardo Engineering amongst other brit firms.

Yep, the triumph's are a good example of where this type of bloke (guzzy tosser) cock up...if you discuss the matter with them you generally find that they've locked onto an opinion without researching it or allowing the opinion to change if they've been made to look a nonce. I rate all bikes, but what I like about triumph is they've allowed themselves to progress designs, some of which definately get the tent pitched.
