Its really good there, it costs $20, some good loops with plenty of variations.
I get off at Mercer and go over that bridge, it takes me about an hour from Howick.

when the mercer road hits the main road that thunder x is on, do you go right or left?
left & head towards Naike
sweet as, see you there tomorrow. did you get my private message?
Yeah I just replied now.
Just spent !!FOUR!! hours driving to Thunder Valley Park! #$%^&* The southern motoway was clogged from the city to mercer - I counted SIX accidents...
Got there, to find a sign saying "closed". You think if they could make as sign to put out they would at least change thier answer phone message from "we are now open weds through sunday".
*^%*(%(&*^(&(
I'll calm down soon... I Hope...![]()
farrrk, i was so nearly gona mish it down to,stoked!
Yeah we went out there only to find the same, so we went to Kimmys instead.
just so everyone knows and dosen't waste there time ( and petrol) like we did. Thundercross looks to be closed on sunday as well. Or so the sign that was there today said. to drive that far and find it closed sucks.
Kimmys bike park, is all good we decided for a bit of a change in riding terrain. good enduro loop that makes the most out of the land available with alot of switch backs.
I went to thundercross sunday weekend before last, on the way there i rang to make sure that they were open, the guy who answered advised me in an arogant tone that they were always open and there was need to ever ring and check!!!! that being said it's still a great place to ride.
Yeah James at thunder x can come across a bit like that sometimes.
Just wondering how much $$ it is to enter woodhill?
$20 for non Honda riders
or $16 for honda riders.
i went out to woodhill on monday for the first time, it was all good but kinda sux going by yourself tho. so in the future if any one wants to go for a ride im always keen. '
i only live 5 mins down the road, so ill be out there quite a bit, im an intermediate rider nothing flash, im pretty good at smashing into the cuttygrass bushes tho
Luck is when oportunity and preparation meet
Yeah that track with all the cutty grass is a real pain in the ass!
