    Nearly new CBR600RR

Ive just brought a brand new CBR600RR. I am poor and have spent years saving to buy something no one else has f'd with. It WAS stunning sparkling in any light, the lube on the chain was perfect, not a blemish or a mark on it not even a fingerprint on it . Ive done 350km on it. I park it at my dads place because he has a garage ,I put a sheet over it to keep dust off. I get home from work and the F WIT says "I ve done that grindin we needed to do!!!" (so the garage door opens and closes easily) Thats right folks My BRAND NEW HONDA is now covered in layer of concrete dust no doubt its got into every cable, seal , and moving part. I dont know what to do next ? Im sure if I attempt to wash and polish it It will look like shit and do more damage to the paint than good. My father is a well meaning jealous brainless prick what a wanker

Before you run it at all, wash it properly with water to get all the dust off, then dry if off and lube all the moving bits (except the brake pads) with CRC or something like that - squirt a bit on and wipe with a rag.

Kinda stuff we do with dirt bikes all the time.
    Cheers

Your poor pride and joy! I guess you weren't being paranoid enough and needed to put up signs and in a loud voice proclaim how sacrosanct your ride is ...

Just take it easy and do the rinses properly, don't try and "scrub" the dust off (will act as an abrasive! ) ... and ditto for what others have said here. I know how much I clean my rides and if'n something like that happened ... I'd do my 'nana!

Post piccies when you are done cleaning it back to bling bling status eh?

Agree ..stop being a prat and clean the sucker ... calling your dad a wanker for such a pratish and immature reason is pathetic ... get over yourself and thank the man for the work he has done which helps both of you!

Your bike just lived up to it's title...Concreted By Relative
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Cool

Funny shit ,This place is my kinda circus. You could do my Nana she would be stoked.
I washed it cold soapy water in the shade with a lambs wool mitt from super cheap dried it of and did the best I could. The paint came up good, but theres like grey swirls on the lower fairing, and the black plastic below the seat has a shade of concrete to it. I cant seem to get rid of. I spent all night working and all day cleaning every bit of dust from the garage and everything in it. So Ill have another go at cleaning the bike tommorrow
I went for thrash before it got dark up and down piha straight left to scenic dr left to bethels right to waitakere left to waimauku right to riverhead forest then home That makes 530km total. According to the manual its now run in Full throttle starts and rapid acceleration starts now Ive tryd the pics thing and the quote thing cant sus it .another day tommorow
