    Any Hamilton Ulysses members?

I'm gunna be an old fart soon, ........... well I'm going to be closer to the top of the hill anyways.

I'm intersted in becoming a member, so was wondering what's the go? I know you have to be 40+, so I'm nearly there. What else?

I'm based in Cambridge, so thought Ham's would be the closest!

It's interesting how the different Ulysses branches vary. The Tokoroa members are nearly all cruisers and used to stop at nearly every pub en route - I was a member for a while but not my scene at all. I showed the Tauranga club round our factory a couple of years ago and what a fantastic bunch, a whole mix of bikes and great fun. No idea about the other branches but it's good to get to know them before joining. Depends what sort of social scene you're into.

    cheers Blackbird.

That's why I was hoping to find some members here to get to know or get feedback from.

Not interested in a pub crawl, just some like minded riders.

Yep, check it out as there are some great people in the Hamilton Branch. There are also quite a few members that are Cambridge based and there are weekly rides and events where i am sure you will meet friends that meet your social and riding needs.

    Hi there Surfer

I have just just last night been nominated onto the Auckland Branch committee and Rhino, my hubby, had been editor of their newsletter for 8 years. We are the largest of the branches in the country. We have a very active runs committee that organises runs each weekend to places all over the upper North Island. We don't do the pub scenes and the rides try to cater for all types of bikes and riders. For example we have a littlies and oldies ride for those who are new to riding or returning to riding. There are a few Auckland members on KB who can add heaps more.

If Hamilton's Ulysses are anything like Tauranga's, they'll be a good bunch! Although I'm far away from being a member (like 14 yrs!) they've always been accommodating and let us ride with them since I was 17.

I guess it helps to be the president's daughter

In Ulysses, until you are 50, you are a junior member
