A day of celebration for more! *burns yellow thing*

Well I also had my Restricted booked for today at 4pm, and I also passed! Yay!!

I turned up at around 3:40 and met my tester, a good bloke! (Thank you, god). He said now that we're both here we may as well start, so we did.. did the little "test to see if the bike actually goes" do-over and we were off. Unlike Rosie I had no earpiece, I guess South Auckland is like that hehe.. he gave me directions on where to go and what to do, and that he will indicate well before we turn where we're meant to (so if I forgot I could look at his).

So we did 2 runs and 2 stops, then on the 3rd one was the route home.. everything was going fine, I was amazed I could actually ride well (haha). I had full gears on so I was getting hot and flipped my visor up and instantly got an eye full of what felt like a bullet weight of bug in my eye. I kept my cool with my watering eye and managed to make it back safetly!

I went back into the office, he said everything was fine and I have my licence, I asked afterwards if he saw anything I could approve on but he said he couldn't really think of anything I did wrong, just to try stay alive.

Woops, long post! Sorry! I'm stoaked I'm one step closer to the full..

Thank you to everyone who helped with tips and riding in general! I love you all

Congrats mate! Glad to hear it all went smoothly, especially since mine is coming up soon (actually, I think I can already go and get it).

And on that note, whereabouts did you do it?

All those sacrifices to the Kawasaki gods must have paid off
I've decided against burning my L plate. It's being attached to the work forklift instead

I did it at Takanini, the roads around there are nice (apart from the rail roads just outside of the shop, I stood up a bit to minimise the jiggles and the tester didn't seem to mind.), so it is quite a nice place to sit the practical .

It's so much more relaxing to do 100kmph without the thought of a possible angry policeman ticketing me in the back of my head .
