The howl of an in-line four as it races from 7,000rpm to the redline. The burble of an in-line four as it decelerates hard and then the howl as you go back hard on the power...

    That, and Abba's Dancing Queen...

Um... err... I've only ridden around the traffic onto the footpath a few times. And once there was insufficient room to the left of the leftmost motorway lane, so I had to ride on the bit beside the motorway. Y'know - the unsealed bit where there's about a 75mm lip that's hard to ride back up. Eventually I got back on the sealed bit. I figured there was probably no-one at the HP headquarters watching me. And anyway, I wasn't speeding or technically overtaking on the left, as I wasn't on the road...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I run my Thunderbird open headers sometimes, capped exhausts rock!!

If we ran our bikes open headers as well don't think the neighbours would be to happy.

Cruise to heaps of different stuff in the cars, way to much to list.

    System of a down...

*Sings* How do you own the world? How do you own disorder, disorder!
Somewhere between the sacred silence, sacred silence and sleep.

Yeah, I heard that all music over something like, 140bpm increases your chances of having an accident. That is a bugger, because I like Metallica, most of their songs are FAR over that. I notice I walk faster when I have it on as well.

I hope it doesnt kill me...

That reminds me, I really need to get an mp3 player for the bike.
On mp3 in the car I have a huge range of stuff. Current FearFactory, Norther, Slayer and Machine Head.

My favourite for driving was Joe Satriani - surfing with the alien. This is going back some years though.

I dunno I seem to get silly songs stuck in my head whilst riding

    Example:
"Heading out to the Highway, I got nothing to lose at all, Heading out to the Highway, -Take a chance before I fall, a chance, before, I falllllll."
Judas Priest. I try to clear that one out as I don’t want to tempt fate.

There’s another song by the Cult ‘Rain’. Again for the same reason. . .

Problem is the driving guitar is so persuasive.

Then when you try to get something different in you greymatter soundtrack you can’t think of anything, or only 2 verses & the tempo is wrong.

System’s Toxicity reminds me of the Dead Kennedy’s, Fresh Fruit For Rotten Vegetables era, I’m sure System are influenced by them.

Must be getting old, 8ft just don’t do it for me. New Savant album is good though.
