It's probably the engine. Its probably been over stressed at some point and it's not currently making enough power. Give it some time and run it in gently and it should be OK...

Yeah, definately needs the engine seeing to. I reckon you should pull your head off , and drain and replace all the fluids.

I take it the frame didn't snap like my crappy plastic bike?

Do I need to hobble down there and teach you how men crash? (See Mr Skid's 3rd leg)
At least my bike has a real chassis, there is sold steel everywhere,it's even got steel wheels, none of this modern plastic crap for me....and you get fit riding a steel bike.I reckon that's why you nearly died, spending nearly 7 weeks in an iron lung to keep you alive, riding a bike that weighs 42 grams is no way to get fit! Although fitness in my case doesn't seem to follow expected progressions....I am decidedly more unfit today than I was yesterday,if this trend continues I will be in a walking frame by next week!

Riding a treadly? They're evel dangerous things. Stop immediately and get back on a REAL bike. One with a motor.

When will you old guys ever learn?????
You can't play soccer, rugby, or run around like a kid when you have attained retirement status, without getting hurt!
    Lesson learned, I hope, Motu.....
