Natureland in Tahuna.. a great wee local zoo.. & the kids small (& big) love it!

Ricky was attacked by an older brother when very small, & suffered brain damage as a result, so has been hand raised by the staff for 15 ? years! he's so gorgeous!!!! We were about the last to leave at closing time & so got to spend quite a bit of time with him.. I think I enjoyed that more than the kids did.. Mr 4 year old wasn't quite sure about the whole deal, at first but eventually held Ricky's hand!!

3 shots of Ricky & one of a very cool Tuatara!!!!

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

I took me new minimoto out for a little skid.

Pulled out onto a road, overtaking cars as it comes on the pipe and wheelying past at around 120kph.

Sadly, it's already claimed a victim. 15 seconds on it, they thought they could handle the "kids" bike, alas, another trip to A&E. Ahhhhhhhh good times.

    I had a shit weekend.

Cageing with trailer on good friday, destination Stony Bay at the top of coromandel. Rear ended coming down the bombays, towbar bent up, trailer stuck to car. Turned around, went home. Too unsafe to continue. Had to sledge-hammer the safety pin off the trailer to get it off the car. Rest of family already over there, out of cellphone coverage.

    Saturday, did nothing.
    Sunday, did nothing.
    Monday, still nothing.

    Fuck you, Easter.
    Bored as shit.

Spent the whole weekend on the bike in Taupo, didn't have a spot of rain to contend with, just the overwhelming police presence. Still, 4 bikes and no tickets in 4 days, we thought we'd done alright.

Spent most of the weekend painting the house. Managed to get out for a quick spin on the Fenland Express on Sunday morning between coats of paint - the good old Newlands, Haywards Hill loop.

Lovely. Bugger all traffic, fantastic weather, no need to get anywhere in a hurry. This is the longest I've ridden the SV so far, and it's suprisingly comfy. Very relaxed at 110-120 in 6th (just following the other traffic).

I'm going to have to get away for a few longer runs after the house is finally finished. Man there's a lot of house when it comes to painting!@!!!!!!

F**king brilliant days riding out to Castlepoint with some great KB mates on Friday. Marvelling at J's black lines going into and through the corners. Awesome talking about later too dude!

Had a few rides as weather in BOP was perfect. Did a 350+km ride on sunday from papamoa to Whakatane over the Rotoma's to Rotorua then over Mamaku's to Morrinsville back over Kaimai ranges. basically found all the hills with heaps of corners. Alot of fun but was pushing time to fit in some fishing.

Ripped apart a bathroom on Friday...now thats great fun! Had to get rid of the rubbish Saturday ... not such fun.

Sunday was time to ride - Yehaaaa. Its been ages since I took the SV out due to it firstly being unrideable and then my ankle injury prevented me putting my boot on so up my fav bit of road SH16. Ran into MacD and co (not literally) and had a yarn before toddling off.

I have to say to the F*&wit that put my rear tyre back on - THE REAR BRAKES FAILED going down my driveway (which is 45 degree angle)

    oopsss i am the f*&9wit

first call out for work was 5.30 am saturday, worked on my mums computer, put battens on a fence, put the floor down for the new garden shed, and mowed the lawns, not enough hours in the day to include a ride this weekend

No, I'm innocent. I filled up in J'ville, gently pootled up Newlands Rd to my residence in Paparangi, whence I quietly cleaned my steed, and oiled it's chain.

It's not worth harassing cars. Interesting to hear that there's another slver SV about in the Newlands area.
