Red face Made a texting SOAB fall off his scooter

So.. I just got my new airhorn going... Here's the story:

I was following this guy on his scooter today. He was going 30km/h. He was also texting. This asshole decides to jam on his brakes, without indication (didnt help he had NO BRAKE LIGHTS), and turn right. I managed to swerve to the left, narrowly missing him. Whilst I was missing him, i had my horn blasting. I checked in my mirror and he was lying on the ground looking very very dazed.

He must have freaked, you dont expect a bike to let off such a big noise! Considering he was riding one handed I think he must have let go in shock. It was rather amusing, left me feeling a little guilty though.

Actually, I'm not guilty. If you are the scooter owner who had this happen to you, and you happen to be reading this.. You are an irresponsible idiot. I do hope the fall grazed you up a bit so you realise that texting whilst riding isnt a smart thing to do. Oh, and get some brake lights and learn how to use your indicator ya mongol!! You're lucky I wasnt in a cage..

I hope you stoped to check he was alright, sure he was a complete tosser, but you did cause him to crash.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Yeah I turned around at the end of the street. He had already gotten on his feet and had his bike started. I was so pissed off I just kept on truckin after seeing that he was OK.

I'd say he caused himself to crash.

At least he learned his lesson without getting killed.

Given that he chose to defend his actions, who votes we show his miss this thread and let her deal out the lessons?

Yeah unfortunately I didnt really want to stop. Stopping sometimes means cops. Cops means checking bike. Bike needs WOF and REGO (both getting done this week). No WOF no REGO means fine. Fine means not good on pocket. Not good on pocket means no food. No food equals death.

So... If I stopped I would have died. My defence, I'm sticking to it.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to speeding_ant again.

Love the logic - bit like that logic that says that everything you eat must be good for you cause at the end of the day it's all derived from vegetables. i.e. I like to eat steak. Steak comes from cows. Cows eat grass which is a "vegetable", therefore eating loads of steak must be healthy. Get your 5-a-day fruit and veg folks.

Oh yeah and well done for blasting the texter.

sounds like you were both being irrisposible riders really...if he was going 30kmph and you had to emergency brake to only just avoid him...you were to close to him!

Yeah I thought my post sounded like I was quite close. The fact is that I was definitely within a very safe stopping distance. Another fact is that 3 seconds comes at you pretty quickly when you dont realise the other bike is slowing down suddenly. No brake lights means SUPRISE! So in this case I would have to disagree with you. The "emergency swivle" was not really "emergency" at all, just a swerve to the safest part of the road... An idiot like this could have gone anywhere for all I know.
