    Well...She lives.

Easter weekend 2000 years ago, Jesus lives again. Easter weekend 2007, The Spada lives again.

That's right people, my beloved baby is back on the road after 2 months of looking very sad. I was going to take her for a birthday ride, but it's raining, so it shall have to wait. Although I've had fun getting mums cruiser 'round the corners at the same speed as The Spada, it's time to return to mine bike.

When the sun shines, a flash of blue and a big grin will be back.

Peace hath higher tests of manhood

    than battle ever knew.

I don't know who is more pleased to see "The Mighty Spada" back on the road, him or me...although I suspect it is me...I don't have to share my bike anymore, I don't have to fit my riding in around hXc's work and other committments anymore...yippeee!!!
Seriously tho, it looks as good as it did pre accident (apart from a dent in the tank)...and all for about $700...contacts people, tis all about contacts...
Perhaps now hXc will go back to being a happy little joy germ, instead of an old grump

Woohoo! Congrats hXc, always did think it was a shame about the crash and subsequant injuring of the poor ol' unsuspecting Spada (and pilot)! Great news mate. Pics!

    Here ya go....
Replaced taillight assembly, rear plastics, seat, front disc and caliper, straightened handlebars, rekitted front master cylinder, rewelded steering stops on the frame, right-side footpeg assy. New paint, lots of time saw her ready for the road. Tested and passed by me. New VIN etc from OnRoad proved all OK. Even got a flash new number plate...

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Goodonya! Enjoy the return of freedom hXc - way better than being cage-bound eh?

Cross your fingers for the return my 250...which is perilously close to a write off says the assessor (Which I'm sad about - 'cos I wasn't done with it yet, and the damage only looked superficial - goddam Suzuki charging $1500 for instruments!!!Feck!)
