Just giving bikes a bad name. Sure people on bikes do stupid things but if a person in a car cut the suv off would that person get as much bad press. Just because some guys were clowning around, (and i know it's stupid and puts the other road users in jepordy so i am not trying to excuse thier moronic actions) do they need to be so hard on motorcyclists. Hell i bet every person who goes on that highwya now and reads that article will be phonibg in every sports bike they see, or worse do the classic "take this into thier own hands" crap.

Maybe it's just late and i have had a bad day. (rant rant rant)

well this just illustrates that some people are just inconsiderate idiots, I've seen guys on bikes recklessly riding without regard for other road users, and I believe we should take total responsibility for our behaviour on and off road, one thing I have noticed is bike riders leaning into corners to the extreme where they lean right over the centre line and right over the opposite side of the road, leaving cage drivers no alternative, but to drive off the road ot avoid hitting the bike rider, this is stupidity folks!
It has happened to me, and I can tell you now, if it happened to be on a piece of road where there was a sheer drop into a river, such as the waioeke gorge, I would take the bike rider out rather than risk my families life, I disagree this article gives bikers a bad rep, bad riders do it.

Agree with Toads. What we do riding influences others, even if its just riding to the shop for milk and back.If we ride safely, others will take note. And we have the bonus that safe riding equals not crashing

Too true, a lot of cagers label all bikers as hoons when just one bike ticks them off, I bet if a grey Subaru cuts them off they don't go around with the opinion all drivers of grey Subaru drivers are dicks.. or something like that..

What do they expect wearing no seat bealt.
A guy that went to my school like 3 years ago was in a crash got really F**ked up because he had no seat belt 2 years after he recovered he crashed into a bank and was throwen about 20 meters.
But thats still not stupid comapred to the Darwin award winners

Nah it needs a performance hydrocillator...

    And perhaps some aftermarket cans.......

    Speights perhaps?

    I bet that'd help the soap-boxing

Yeah baby, through my eyes it would but you lot would have to put up with a lot more raving, - and don't let me get hold of a velocitator or I'll really let loose
