Powercommander units

I'm looking at purchasing a powercommander unit for the Ducati and was wondering if anyone else had tried them out. I'm interested to hear about "long term" tests. I've got Arrow carbon fibre cans, a K&N filter and I've cut the airbox for some better breathing. I've been told that it's a good idea to get the bike Dyno'd when fitting the PC to the bike.
