Advice wanted on ear piece for Escort radar detector

Can anyone give me some advice on where to buy a decent quality ear piece for my Escort Radar detector please? Dick Smith and jaycar have real cheapieones, with a wire of cotton thickness. I am after one with a "pig tail" type lead if poss.

I really want to track something down this week. I have tried Radar Direct but theres is a straight wire also. Any tips? Thanks in advance, Shafty

Thats not ideal neil; some plugs are loose in the Detector, - I'd rather buy a purpose built item, or try for a tight fit

This post shows what I used for an earpiece. There are not many choices of earpiece that will fit the ear without pain once the helmet is on.

    This works well for me.
    Here for the ride.
