    05 ZX6R/RR pics

Now this looks sweet for a six hundy....

It retains a 636cc engine - with lighter internals for faster revving. The styling is radically updated with a sexy new look incorporating the aerodynamic thinking demonstrated on the ZX-RR MotoGP bike.

The alloy twin-spar frame is all new.

The 2005 bike also has a braced swingarm and - a first for a Kawasaki - an underseat-exiting exhaust.

Kawasaki's 2005 ZX-6R features a slipper clutch as standard, MotoGP-style fuel injection, wavy brake discs and a high-revving 107bhp engine.

Now that bike looks awesome. Good to see the style morons at Suzuki aren't infecting the other Jap manufacturers.

Surely "style" and "Suzuki" are oxymoronic?

Yup!! The only reason I'm riding one is because of the awesome V Twin lump they produced in the TL. They seem to have a knack of producing really awesome bikes with some feckin ugly components, especially huge exhausts, bulbous rear seat lump things and fake carbon fibre - YUK!

The Euro indicators look better than the stalk ones. Pity all bikes don't come with flush mounts as standard!

mmmmm.... Now THAT is progress! Looks like the 636 snuck up behind the Zx10 and ZXRR and did a body snatching excercise!
Shame about the massive rear proboscis but its nothing a hacksaw can't fix

I love they way they've moved away from the 'edge' styling thats dominated for the last few years and put some curves into it. Very Impressive Mr K!

personally i don't like the look that the current model yes, but that, i don;t like that plain black panel on the bottom, also cause its screwed on like, oh we need another panel here,

The riders set looks mmmm like a dunny or something, i mean all nice and curved at the back so you can get ya fat ass in it or something

that bike looks biggest in side with the fairing, might not in rl but way it looks

Funny how it took over 10 year for the J's to copy the 916 under seat pipes - they should've done it sooner cause it looks sweet.

personally i don't like the way J has done underseat exhusts, the sexys is the mv, followed by the duke 916 series, but all the J's underseats are horrible looking, not designed to look nice i do believe

I think the new R1's underseat exhaust looks pretty bloody smooth, actually.
