Don't ever come to Korea then.... really horrendous driving (I use that term very loosely) everywhere.

    Unhappy

The unlicensed driver in an unregistered and unwarranted car that put my lady in hospital with 12 broken bones, she is unlikely to ride a bike again

Then the court proceedings to be told how traumatised said driver was and due to this the driver had not driven again

OK. You're a racist if you like.
I will admit to the odd moment myself.
The closest I have have come to dying on the road was coming round a corner just south of Te Kuiti to be confronted with a car load of asians trying to overtake a bus. Just managed to avoid the head-on and the other driver did nothing to help.

On the lighter side, friends of mine in the Manawatu refer to them as side-valves. Something to do with flat heads as I recall.

Actually, they can drive. I learned great respect for the quality of the drivers during my brief visits to Tokyo.
However, the immigrants that head this way, do not appear to be trained to the same standard I agree.
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.

Sadly it's not just the asian population that can't drive... I've been nearly mowed down by white mums desperate to get their kids as close to the school gates as possible, agressive white males trying to save 10sec by ignoring the give way sign, bus drivers of all ethnic backgrounds...

So, on the roads, I'm not racist. I just hate everybody. Except bikers of course. And cagers who move out of the way

That wanker on the KTM450 who comes past me on one wheel. You know who you are, and your mate on the RMZ450 does it too.

No chance mate, I haven't seen every square inch of this country yet and if I ever do I still won't want to go to Korea.

Yeah, I've noticed the drop in quality of bus drivers. Aggressive white males aren't always teenagers either, some fat-bum exec's are pretty bad too. (And their trophy wives...)

You can pretty much guarantee that any FPV Ford or HSV Holden will be driven by a fat balding aggressive white male. Don't get me started on the BMW M series drivers or the soccer moms (or should that be rugby mums) in their flash arse SUV's. To be fair though at least their bad driving is predictable.

I don't know if it's just me but there seems to be something "special" about the drivers on the southern motorway too. NW or N you get some dodgy driving but there's nowhere near as much aggression as the S. Anyone else notice that?

Small cuts of Spanish beef or a Japanese 4WD utility?
