The thing you hate most when riding

How about if I just say most of the above mentioned things so far.....

Huge bugs/insects hitting me in the face
Cages
Being cut off / not being seen
Ciggie butts being thrown out the window
People spitting out the drivers window
Rubbish being thrown out as well
I have been stung 3 times now: one on each arm and once on the face OUCH !!!

when you're going down one of the long straight christchurch inner city roads, stuck behind some starlet doing 25...and catching every single red...

its worse because bikes dont have the inertia of a cage so at slow speeds its hard to keep a constant speed....so you're going -----> -----> ----->

Kindy mums in SUVs.
VSP boys in cars that go "chur".
The Labour Gummint.
Unattended bike shops with disinterested employees.
The breakfast menu that stops at midday.
Chewing gum on the sole of my boot.
Oceans of cow shit across main roads.
Did I mention the Labour Gummint?

What do you hate the most when you go for a ride (anything)

I hate bugs/gravel flying into my face

when i slide down the road on my arse, well actually that parts fun, it's whats left of the bike afterwards that i hate.

I'll say cops, coz its not only tickets, just them possibly being around the corner can spoil your fun.

As annoying as rain and gusty wind is, its semi predictable...

so are cops

Two Solutions for this
1. Don't stop

Use to do that and still do sometimes.
But it's real hard to out run a radio.
In the good old days they had to give you the ticket, then it was game on.

2. Don't Speed (but thats just silly)

What sell my bike and buy a push bike.
Whats the point of having a bike and not speed.......a little.

They are fine as long as they are not stopping ME.

I don't think I hate anything about biking, some things piss me off at the time, but you blow on bye and at the end of the day look back and laugh.
