    Anyone heard of/used Speed-Tech??

    http://www.speed-tech.co.nz/

Was hunting through TradeMe, came across a seller, who had the website listed...

They seem to carry a few things I might be interested in, but I haven't come across them before, and perhaps they are new?

The "free" tyres were Corsa's and definitely a one off...

Through the above mentioned site PP's would be $620.00 + fitting
Where as the good folk at my "local" sold me a pair for $500.00 fitted and balanced

At that price it's practically worth riding down to your neck of the woods to get a pair.

As for Speed-Tech. I don't trust online stores with websites that bad.

I think that would be up, if I remember rightly... it was norfland... which could mean your tyres are half gone before you get back

They are in Hamilton, so I would probably deal in person. Its more the aftermarket gear, thats quite hard to come by, as the 2 experiences I have had with US sites have been completely shit, so I prefer to let someone else deal with that bit, and pay a bit more.

Also, all stores have to start somewhere. My local's (who doesn't have what I'm after) website is terrible, but he's great.

Shitty website... went to three empty categories and closed the page. Why bother putting an empty site up?

Yep I've heard of them, build some of the fastest cars in NZ...although this crowd you've pointed out isn't the same one...just the same name. Wonder if they realise...

    e.g. http://www.speedtech.co.nz/
