Biker down in Christchurch (19 April)

I passed the aftermath of an accident on Mairehau Road this morning a block away from the Parklands Tavern. Large late model blue and white fully faired sports bike by the looks of it. Only distinguishing feature I picked up was triangular shaped exhusts rather than round. (Oh, I got the rego but I won't publish that). I don't know how the rider was as he was already in the ambulance. Police were taking details from someone but I didn't notice any other vehicle that had obviously been involved. Bike was propped up in the gutter. A bit scuffed up on the right had side but didn't appear too bad so hopefully the rider comes out of it OK. Best wishes to him/her anyway.

It was in almost the same place where my son-in-law got taken out by a driver doing a u-turn a couple of years back.
