Just a survey. When you were caught by the cop, was it with laser or radar?

Red arrow, thought about running it, rolled forward, stopped. Decided to run it about a second later. Bloody cop RIGHT behind me. Dumb dumb dumb. Was nice though, no licence on me and didn't slam me for that.

Lorax not use rear vision mirrors.
To split or not to split, that is the question

What exactly do you mean by a speed trap?

Radars are fitted in the vehicles. The Laser is a hand held device.

He assured me it was a radar, but it looked to me like a dunkin donuts box with a coffee cup attached to the top.

It did say 121, but i reckon that was the number of doughnuts he scoffed before he ran out of revenue.

I've found that the use of lasers are far less frequent than the Ka band that the HWP use. (Well, certainly in the central north island) Mufti camera vans use Ka band too.

Speed traps, when the cop car hides and whips out his laser.

Laser can only be used when stationary?

Been tailed every time and the cop has taken the speed off his speedo. In 2 of the 3 cases this has resulted in some embellishment by the cop as to how fast I was going - not much you can do when you're the only one on the bike.
