We have met!!! It is still the all time record!! Thought you saw the vivid marker I used to write 121 on the donut box, but you didn't... Phew...

    Unhappy gotta like the post

got home from work and opened letter only to find camera ticket.doing 116km on sh29 at 1200mtrs somewhere on kaimai rd to tauranga.i'd like to know if they guess the speed as i was sure the radar went off just beforehand(only picks up when pretty close for cameras),and if it was 114km the fine would be less.oh well my fault still have 56 days to pay, buggered if i pay within the first 28 days, wait till get second notice then pay.

Laser can only be used when stationary?

radar.. with and without my full metal jacket.

the only time i've been blinged by laser is on sh1 near papakura, red light in my eyes, on teh screen waving all over the shop. He didn't stop us doing 14* odd.. probably cos he had parkinsons and couldn't lock on

Me too - however I always get the personal service!! The first time on a bike - I knew immediately after I flew passed him - so slowed and sure enough those red and blue flashing lights were twinkling away!

Of course the above is based on the assumption that I would be working alone.

    Which I don't.

i've not seen those tactics used in NZ, one doing the spotting and another down the road. well i have but only at major stop/drinkie checks. In the UK they're quite common as are rozzas sitting on the on ramps of motorways.

still.. you sitting in ya car with a copy of mayfair doesn't constitute 'backup'.....DOES it big boy??!!
