Good for you Gypsy, enjoy the new ride and make sure you post photo's when you are in the saddle.

I'll say the same and while my lady loves her 1200 Sporty (which came with f/c's) we had to change the bars to suit her short arms and we dropped the bum with some shorter Hagen rear coil-overs. I used to mock her for riding a Sporty until I took my bike apart and used hers on a daily basis for a while. Now I think it's a fun wee thing but after she plonked her butt on the big block and dubbed it the 'lounge chair' we are looking to add a third machine to the collection so she'll be more comfy when touring.

We don't often come across ladies on big blocks but if you're comfy with it.....go for it.

Forward controls DEFINITELY made a huge difference. Feel more centred on the road. As for the "Monkey Bars"? Would never try them as they look as uncomfortable as hell to me, and I reckon after a few hours there would be no feeling left in the arms. Ha Ha.
