    kdx200 question

Hi I have recently bought a 1990 KDX200 but the clutch basket is worn. Has anyone got a good second hand one they want to sell? I would also like to know what the thickness measurements are for the clutch steel and friction plates so I can check the wear. Thanks in advance

I'm one of the worlds best riders. I can wheelie, I can stoppie, I can stunt, hell I can get my shoulder down. I could keep up with Rossie if I wanted to race.

Then I go from bed to bike and somehow it all turns to crap.

Thanks, I did already. They had one but unfortunatly it was as bad as the one I've got. I also wanted the inner piece that the springs mount on but they want $80.00 for that and I can buy a new one for 60.00 incl so Im still looking

Have a look at ebay, but you're only going to get another shit one second hand.

you can file the grooves out but this only works once.

I think it costs about $300 for a replacement. I'd just get a new one and be done with it.

Which clutch plates & friction plates are you wanting measurements for? there's two separate types of each plate (clutch plates 6/1 , friction plates 7/1).

I want to check the steels to make sure they are within tolerances. The frictions I will have to replace anyway as they are obviously worn. I would like to check the spring length if anyone has that measurement as well.
I will check Ebay thanks I had not thought about that. A new basket locally is 540.00 half the price of the bike
