not to sure if i can ride yet, will depend if my shoulder is fixed by then,

this is the best race in the country, 350 riders off a shotgun start is worth the drive,

We stay at Awakeri every year, nice and close to the track, and the hot pools are great afterwards,

the club give you a free meal at prizegiving as well, it is an awesome weekend,

Anyone with any more info on this event, classes, bike requirements etc? A mate brought it up today that we should do this race this year.

For those that have done the event, I believe there are some fast sections. How long are they and is it worth gearing the bike for these? The KTM200 does not have long legs. Other option is the RM250, same thing.

Ok In the latest DRD Mag there is a bit about teh race. there is some fast and flowing sections, but I'd contact the organisers. I don't think that they have actually made the track yet.
