Flywheel weight
I have a 01 CR250 and am getting back into trail and MX. After 25 years!! And boy have things changed. You guys fly much higher now!! With the man made jumps.
After many years karting and many years touring (i still ride road at least 3 times a week) sold the karts and got me and my kids (teenagers) MX bikes. I went 2 stroke as I can maintain them myself. My sons have a KX85 and Cr125.
My 250 is a great bike, the guy I bought it of was a bike mechanic and it is geared a bit lower and jetted so it tractors from down low really well. so it's not a wild rev'er.
But infortunatly I have to admit it is a bit much for me. It actually goes like stink. After 6 months riding most weekends it still scares the crap outa me sometimes. I rode my mates yz250f and felt I could actually give it heaps. But I can't afford a 4 stroke at the moment.
I do Moto-x (not race meetings) at Ardmore sometimes and Kimis farm etc so jumps and stuff. Also go trail riding as well on the cross country rides.
So would a fly wheel weight help my bike. If so should I go 10 or 12oz in weight. Thats my main problem will a 12 suck to much out of it on the MX tracks.
"Wad u ya" recon
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
