Can't help with a bike trailer, however...
Depending on the length of your bike, a trailer from the local garage may do the job. I use a normal trailer from the garage to transport my bike. The only difference with a bike trailer is that there is a gutter for the wheels to sit in, this will make the bike more stable.
Make sure that you poke the front wheel into a corner if it is a normal trailer from a garage. Put tie downs on the handlebars and crank them down so that it compresss the front suspension right down. This will lock the bike in position. You may want to put a couple of tie downs on other parts of the rear of the bike going to the sides to ensure it doesn't slip around. Ensure where you have anchored your bike doesn't allow for the tie downs to slip.
what he said, and check it at oamaru then at timaru and if it hasnt fallen off by there it should be ok
i found out a small trailer from hirequip is $60 for the weekend
Yea hirequip are great for that sort of thing. And sometimes ya can use beer to pay/get it cheaper.
Those who dont learn from history, are doomed to repeat it.
